Hello Viv! Where have you been hiding my dear?! Glad you could finally make it!
Classic trial & error design that emerged from trying to put "a circle in square hole." In other words, I was obsessed with another idea I had today - and kept building and dismantling the pieces for the better part of about 6 hours. I finally gave up! I was hungry, my neck hurt, my eyes were bleary and I was p.o.'ed - not the demeanor in which I like to create anything.
So Matt took me to lunch. We went to a place called Seghetti's on a little main street near here. The owner is a mosaic artist, but she also has the yummiest Italian dishes ever in her little market. Today we sampled pasta fagioli, eggplant with a black currant sauce & gorgonzola, and ravioli with a pecan/chicken/garlic filling - oh my! My senses came alive from every tasty bite. With a fresh start, I came home, pulled out the "innards" of the design, moved it all around and here you go. So pleased with this layout: multidirectional, stylistically 'me', timeless, geometry playing on itself. Good day! Tomorrow, I will share some other business news in the works! :)
