Scanning my studio the other day, I realized I never showed these pretty snowflakes to you. Last week's snowfall has turned into a pile of mud/snow/ice mush from unseasonably warm days - makes me happier to see the papercuts here then look out the window at my icky backyard. (Tack on 30 seconds per paw to wipe muddy dog feet = 4 extra minutes to let the varmints out to pee.)
Don't these look photoshopped into place, sort of like they're floating in air. Snowflakes tend to do that sometimes I hear.
First 2 attempts. Meh.
Third attempt. Looks like a mutant deer head with an extra ear.
Final attempt - completely smittten! Looks like my Vivien fabric. So much fun to unfold these to reveal the pattern!!!! Peanutman had the sharp scissors for the other attempts, but as luck goes, he lost interest before I did. :)
I'm sure it doesn't surprise you one little bit that I'm now the proud owner of these two patterns. I think I'll call them Suzy - after Suzy Snowflake. Viv and Suz will be fast friends!

Happy Monday!
