A fine how-do-you-do that I haven't introduced you all sooner b/c these fabrics have been tapping me sweetly on the shoulder everyday, asking when they'll get to strut their stuff! "Today Jan? Are we going out into the world wide web today?" After about 1800 pics, I've captured as much of their essence as I'm capable of (lack of sunlight and skills be damned) - so here they are in all their loverly-ness.
About the collection:
In true Daisy Janie style, the Urbana fabrics are a fresh, modern fusion of original, hand-drawn sketches and graphic design. I am *extremely excited* about this new collection as it brings together a few of my favorite design elements: simple botanicals, bold geometrics and retro mod styling. Best of all, the fabrics are printed on 100% organic cotton sateen (GOTS certified) – something that's very important to me and much more in-line with my personal philosophies. The fabrics drape beautifully, have a soft, luxurious hand and are super strong. Pillows? Skirts? Curtains? Craft projects? Mmmm, hmmmm.
