Peanutman had a poster to make for school - and the paints looked too delicious to be left alone. I grabbed some potatoes that were growing shoots a mile long and carved mini leaf shapes into one with my x-acto knife. I've never done any kind of stamping, tater or otherwise. I totally did not plan on these shapes fitting together as a semi-seamless repeat, but sure enough, they kinda did. That made it all the more fun to keep playing. What fun!! I think I like carving the shapes almost as much as stamping.
Have you ever potato-stamped? What did you carve and make?
