Sort of clutch, sort of wristlet. Love the position of the wrist loop - having made many, many wristlets in my day, I can totally see how that would add to carrying comfort and user functionality.
I really like the vintage linen black & cream print, too. Goes with everything...except that I may have an issue with the black. A friend of mine was borrowing clothing for a funeral recently, and holy cow, as I pulled possibilities from my meager closet, I realized 95% of my dressy clothes are black or black with white, taupe, gray or cream. Might suggest I have comfort zone-itis or practicality-osis or something. Ack. My niece's bat mitzvah is in 2 weekends, and the same friend above lent me a slew of gorgeous outfits, shoes and clutches - all of which will come in handy for 3 of the 4 events that weekend. But the main event is tuxedo-optional, so I'll be out hitting the prom rejects in the junior's department this week. I'm thinking something to go with that clutch - how about black?
