It's been pretty quiet here in Daisy Janieland. Not much to tweet, not much to blog. I've been busy working on some custom work and finishing up my 2010 calendar (more on that shortly).
What's nice in theory is that these 2 design tasks overlap so I don't really feel like I'm doing double-duty.
What's not so nice in practice is that they both involve delving into my Big Folder of Surface Designs for another folder I try to avoid making eye contact with most months. It's called "old but workable" but really should be called "Mwa ha ha ha, click on me and you'll be mired in a ball-of-string you call 'designs' so damn deep, you won't know which way is up for a week."
The contents are a lot like antique shops: gems and junk. Depending how hard you look, what kind of mood you're in, if you're looking for something specific, how creative you're feeling, how much you want to work to make 'it' work - all variables that will affect how I see the "old but workable" designs and all those antiques.
Are your decisions ever swayed back-n-forth with variables like these?
