Strike-offs of Geo Grand arrived on Friday! These are small pieces that are hand-printed on an unfinished fabric for artwork and color approval. They turned out stupendously!! The artwork is where it's supposed to be, and all colors but green are magnificently matched!
The chartreuse had to be altered slightly to meet the GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) requirements for certification. The Pantone shade I originally selected was bright chartreuse, and the new green is only one shade above it - linden green. After examining the swatches in all sorts of different lighting this weekend, I fell in love with this green! It suits the other colors perfectly and makes a well-balanced palette for the collection.
