Hope your Monday is off to a beautiful, motivated start!
Balanced simplicity and simple balance are my goals for the next few weeks. With family vacations & spring breaks & other life craziness, I've been off-kilter with a regular schedule of any kind. That, in turn, has caused me to feel slightly unfamiliar with my own work & I'm trying to figure out where to jump in. Breathing is first...deep breaths....breathe in peace & harmony, breathe out stress & anxiety. (Birthing classes anyone?)
My anxiety level is creeping up as my to-do list plumps itself up - not only from the number of items being added daily but also the growing heaviness of each item from its sedentary lifestyle of late. Your to-dos need a little exercise every once in awhile! A good friend of mine always reminds me that 'it's harder to get in shape than it is to stay in shape.' And damn if that doesn't hit the nail on the head when thinking of stepping away from work vs. staying in the flow! Time away from work can be a detriment in the short-run just as much as can be a boost. Must learn to balance that trade-off somehow...so I'm not left feeling completely whack-a-doodle when I leave things behind for a time.
