And by besties, I definitely mean fabric. I figure, since I nurture them, bond with them, share laughs & tears with them, and maintain my loyalty to them at all costs , these Shades of Grey fabrics have enough human qualities to consider them my best friends. So we hung out together yesterday, we made a handbag and had a blast!
This is the Midi Handbag, a spin-off of my one of my handbag designs from 2008. If you take a look at the older Midi handbag, you'll see I swapped out the frayed edges and undulating cuts on the gusset bottom and front pocket for regular seams and a pocket with fabric piping.
Here is where I would love your opinion. If there were a pattern for this handbag, please tell me which you would prefer:
M being very silly and making me laugh as he takes the pics - he's good at that 24/7! Too bad he doesn't tell me when my hair is all frizzed out on one side!
The black top I am wearing is from SUST, purchased from Pure Citizen. 100% certified organic supima cotton. So soft!!
