Boxes heavy with beautiful organic fabric + a heart-racing, crazy workout = a passion collision of epic proportions! This is meld #1.
Probably not for most, but definitely for me. When these passions come together as in the picture above, I am like the Michael Jordan of Workville: you can't stop me; you can only hope to contain me. Squat clean a 50 lb. box, quickstep with it, drop, jog to get another... repeat a bazillion times! All the while, thinking very sappy thoughts about where the fabric will go, who will buy it once it gets there, what will they make with it, who will enjoy what they make.
Once I start opening the boxes and behold the fabrics (after the choir of unicorns, puppies & angels stops singing), I am overcome with emotion: I did this. I brought this fabric to life. These are my ideas on safe, healthy fabric, and it makes a difference. It makes a big, big difference to a lot of people and to our precious planet. And people are going to make their own things with it! They're going to stitch their love right into the fibers, and more unicorns, puppies and angels will sing!
